Job Description
Perform all accounting functions in compliance with corporate APG and SOX guidelines and correct any audit issues in a timely manner.
Assist department directors in the review of monthly expenses/stats and planning department budgets.
Prepare financial and statistical reports as required and assist in preparing the monthly financial review, annual operating budget, Medicare cost report, tax schedules, capital expenditures, contractual obligations, etc.
Perform monthly close by preparing, reviewing and posting journal entries to the general ledger in accordance with corporate deadlines.
Review MSO financial statements, intercompany ledgers and stat input to assumer accuracy and compliance with established accounting procedures.
Manages staff relations, departmental goals, standards, and objectives.

Bachelorâ  s degree in Accounting
Accountant experience
Computer literate with emphasis in Excel
Knowledge of budgeting, cost reporting, taxation and auditing principles.
Critical thinking, leadership skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
