Equipment Operator (Well Clean Out) Vernal, UT


Applies principles and theories of well bore cleaning, acid matrix, basic mathematics, drilling of plugs, and all remedial work to completion work.


Responsible for maintaining equipment and accurate DOT logs.

Maintain satisfactory driving record.

Ability to learn the disciplines of driving and rigging up equipment on location.

Ability to verbally communicate and understand details and directions.

Must be willing to obtain knowledge of pumping standards.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Ability to proficiently operate auxiliary equipment; acid transport and nitrogen transport.

Ability to proficiently operate Frac Pump, Acid Pump and Combo Unit.

Ability to maintain condition of treating iron.

Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.


0-1 year experience in related field

Good communication skills

Familiarity with equipment

Ability to comply with DOT Regulations and Health Requirements.

Ability to work flexible work schedule, including long and/or irregular hours.

Must have a telephone or pager and the ability to be on 24 hour call.

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.


Mechanical aptitude

High School diploma or equivalent.

2-5 years Fracturing/ Stimulation experience in a service company or oilfield operating company.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
